HISTORY

The Aaron & Rachel Meyer Memorial Foundation was established in 1964.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people and animals in our region.  We are extremely proud to have one of the original board members, Mr. Philip B. Lowy acting as our Executive Director.  Mr. Lowy along with his wife Janet and daughter Alissa Murphy, personally review all grant requests.  This personal attention has led to many great relationships over the years.  More importantly we have learned to appreciate many of the challenges facing non-profit organizations.   

Our philanthropy traditionally focuses on the areas of:
